Charlie brings 30 years of entrepreneurial expertise to both the Seller and the Buyer.  His business background includes not only the successful start-up of several companies, but assuming ownership of several existing companies in various industries, including retail, manufacturing, construction, wholesale, and outsource placement for the high tech industry.  His expertise in all areas of business ownership brings to Charlie a true understanding of the business owners’ vantage point and challenges.

Prior to joining First Business Brokers, Ltd., Charlie owned a large equipment rental company, specializing in light construction and party rental.  His decision to sell the business was predicated on an offer he received from a business broker.  The successful sales process was Charlie’s introduction to the business brokerage industry.

Charlie is a member of the Colorado Association of Business Intermediaries (CABI) and the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA). In 2006, he received his CBI (Certified Business Intermediary) certification.

In the past three years Charlie has been involved in the successful transfer of over 23 privately held companies.

His off-time passions include motorcycle riding, hiking, and snowshoeing with his wife of 29 years, Kathryn.
