Originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, Trent traveled the US as a military dependant, and settled in Colorado Springs in 1972, where he graduated from Air Academy High School. Trent attended college on a basketball scholarship and graduated with a degree in Appraisal Technology and an MBA in Real Estate from Western States University in 1995.

Trent followed his family’s career path to become a Real Estate Broker and Certified Residential Appraiser in 1984, after working for his family’s real estate business for 12 years, he opened his own appraisal firm, Aascent Valuations, LLC, and worked with a local Re/Max office.

Among Trent’s many achievements and awards is his recognition in the Lexington Whos Who for Executives and Professionals. After a long, successful career in selling and appraising residential and commercial use properties as well as consulting for property tax appeals, he joined First Business Brokers, Ltd., to pursue his career in business sales.

While Trent’s broad business, valuation knowledge, and ability to listen benefits his negotiation success, his low-key, confident attitude benefits his ability to work in harmony with all of the intricacies associated with a business transaction. Trent enjoys all of what Colorado has to offer in outdoor activities and participates in competitive sports, alpine skiing, water skiing, scuba diving and weight training. Trent is also a very devoted father to his little girl, Annaliese.
